Spring Festival is a traditional festival of Chinese people. It is on Feburary19th ,2015, namely the first day of New Year.Thus, Chinese think Spring Festival very important. On this day, people always set firecrackers, watch Spring Festival evening shows , and put the spring festival paper-cuts on the windows. Families sit together and celebrate the New Year.
The Lantern festival
The 15th day of the 1st lunar month is the Chinese Lantern Festival because the first lunar month is called yuan-month. The 15th day is the first night to see a full moon. So the day is also called Yuan Xiao Festival in China. According to the Chinese tradition, at the very beginning of a new year, when there is a bright full moon hanging in the sky, there should be thousands of colorful lanterns hung out for people to appreciate. At this time, people will try to solve the puzzles on the lanterns and eat yuanxiao and get all their families together.
The Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon Boat Festival is on The 5th day of the 5th lunar month .When it is coming,the people usually make Zongzi. Why every household should pack dumplings on this day i? Because they want to memorize QuYuan. Qu Yuan is a great poet. Sometimes,people also make jiaozi, eggs, bread, dumpling and boat racing. The Dragon Boat Festival is an old traditional festival in China.
The Water Festival
The Water Festival is a very big festival. It is a very special festival for all their people. It is the beginning of their New Year. It is usually at the end of March or the beginning of April. It takes 3-7times. Before the Water Festival, people clean their houses and cook nice food. When the Water Festival begins, people splash (泼) water over each other. Everyone gets very wet（湿的）, but they are very happy.
Everyone in China likes Mid-Autumn Festival. It usually comes in September or October. On that day every family eats mooncakes at home. A mooncake is a delicious, round cake. It looks like the full moon. There are different kinds of mooncakes. Some have nuts, some have meat, eggs or even ice cream inside.At night, people often stay in the open air near their home. They find a place to look at the moon and eat mooncakes and fruits. If they stay at home, they often watch special programmes for the festival evening party on TV.
