Important Expressions
一般过去时 （ the Simple Past Tense) ：
1. 表示在过去某时间的发生的动作或存在的状态。
2. 常和表示过去的时间状语连用：如
①last weekend ②yesterday ③two days ago
④in 2000 ⑤just now , then, when时间状语从句 。
3. 谓语：动词的过去式
4. 规则动词过去式的构成：
一般情况加--ed
以e结尾的加d，如 practiced
末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词，先双写这个辅音字母，再加-ed，如 stop--stopped
④以辅音加y结尾的,变y为i,再加+ed ,如 studied
口诀:一加ed，二加d，三要双写，
四注意，y变成ied，特殊形 式特殊记。
一般过去时顺口溜
动词一般过去时，表示过去发生的事；
be用was或用were，have，has变had；
谓语动词过去式，过去时间作标志；
一般动词加-ed，若是特殊得硬记。
否定句很简单，主语之后didn’t添；
疑问句也不难，did放在主语前；
如果谓语之前有did，谓语动词需还原；
动词若是was，were，否定就把not添。

复合不定代词
1.由some, any, no, every构成的复合不定代词作主语时，都看作单数，其谓语动词用单数第三人称形式。

2.不定代词若有定语修饰，该定语要置于其后。

Last Sunday, I went to Qingdao with my parents. We went there by train. I loved it at once as soon as I went into the city. The weather there was fine and not too hot. There were many big stores in Qingdao.The stores were very expensive. We went shopping after lunch , and we bought nice souvenirs for my friends. Today I went to the Palace Museum. It was cool. Then I walked along Chang'an Street till Tian'an Men Square. The square was very big. There were many people there.

But it was very tiring to climb the wall, so I felt very tired. After I came back to my hotel I decided go to bed early.
