Module7 第3课时教学设计
一、教学内容
外研版小学英语五年级上册第七模块第3课时Unit2 Activities 1—3。
二、教学目标
1. 能在图片的提示下表达某人不会做的事情及他人及时给予的帮助。
2. 能规范书写所学句子。
三、教学重难点
重点:
1. 能认、读单词this, walk, sit down, carry, swim, helps (helped).
2. 能听懂、会说句型:This man/girl can’t …和 … helps him/her.
难点:能根据不同的图片内容大胆表达某人不会做的事情及他人给予的帮助。
四、教学准备
1. 单词卡片(可从优教平台下载“Module7 Unit2单词卡片集”直接使用)。
2. 音频(可从优教平台下载使用)。
3. PPT课件。
五、教学设计
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing the song “A GOOD FRIENDS
2. Look and read the word cards.
help, walk, sit down, carry, swim, her, him, kind, little, old, friend, man
【设计意图】教师先带着学生一起吟唱歌曲,做好上课的准备,再综合朗读重点词汇卡,对今天将要新授的教学内容设置悬念。
Step 2 Presentation
1. 学习Look,listen and say.(完成课文活动1)
(1)逐一呈现课文活动1中的图片,学生认读图中人物: dog and the firefighter/dog and the girl/dog and Sam/dog, Sam and Amy.
(2)Look and talk about the pictures.
(3)Listen and read the sentences.
(4)Talk about the dogs that helped you in the past.说说以前你从小狗身上获得过的帮助。
2. 学习Listen and read.(完成课文活动2)
Talk about these pictures.

(1) At first, let students say the key words of each picture, little girl/ can't walk/her father/old man/can't sit down/kind girl/girl/can't carry the key/friend/little girl/can't swim/her mother
注意对重点单词kind(友好的),carry(提、扛、搬),及人称代词的宾格形式和物主代的认识。
(2) Talk about each picture.
A: This little girl can’t walk. Her father helps her.
B: This old man can’t sit down. A kind girl helps him.
C: This girl can’t carry the bag. Her friend helps her.
D: This little girl can’t swim. Her mother helps her.
(3)比比谁的反应快。
学生先仔细看清每幅图片内容,教师说:He can’t sit down by himself(独白),学生齐答:It’s Picture 2.教师说:Picture 3. 学生齐答:She can’t carry the bag. 师生反复练习,并互换句子。
(4) Listen and read.
(5) Group reading.分组朗读四幅图。
3. 学习Look and write. Then say.(完成课文活动3)
(1) Look at the write. Then write the sentences.
A: She can’t walk. Her mother helps her.
B: He can’t ride a bike. His brother helps him.
C: She can’t eat dinner. The nurse helps her.
(2) Check the sentences and say them with your partner
4. 举例说一说某人曾获得的帮助。
如:When I can’t walk, my mother helps me.
When she can’t swim, Xiao Qiang helps her. Now she can swim well.
When he can’t ride a bike, his brother helps him.
When we can’t remember the English words, Miss Chen helps us.
【设计意图】媒体出示课文插图,师生问答,引出话题:小狗帮助了很多人。接下来让学生回忆说说自己从小狗身上获得过的帮助,继续操练helped。课文活动2各环节的设计则是周围人们的互相帮助,让学生进一步感受到了生活中真情的伟大与美好。
Step 3 Consolidation and extension
1. Guessing game.
让学生猜一猜下面描述的是哪一类人。如:
T: They can’t finish their homework.
Ss: The students.
T: Who can help them?
S1: The teachers.
S2: Their parents.
T: Who can’t tidy the schoolbag.
Ss: The kids.
T: Who cannot see?
S1: The blind.
2. “爱心”大回报活动。
“感恩节”就要来了,我们要感谢身边帮助过我们的人,我们应该怎样回报他人、回报社会呢?
S1: I can help our mums do housework.
S2: I can help teachers clean the blackboard
S3: I can tell the stories to the old.
S4: I can help the blind to clean the floor, clean the window and cook the meals.
S5: I can help my grandparents to set the table, wash the plates and …

3. Sum up: The world will become better if everyone gives their love.
【设计意图】进一步渗透情感教育,要懂得与牢记周围一直在帮助我们的人,用行动来回报他人、回报社会,培养学生正确的人生观与价值观。
Step 4 Homework
制作一张感恩卡或写一封信给需要帮助的人群,告诉他们你能为他们做些什么。下节课带来课堂与同学一起交流。

七、回顾总结
help的过去式是helped,第三人称单数形式是helps. helps 后边的me是I的宾格形式,her是she的宾格形式,him是he的宾格形式。学生要通过例句、练习来加深印象。
