教材分析:
本节课片段是围绕8单元写作话题展开,我们在前面已经学习了一些祈使句的用法,为了使学生问对section A及section B 两个阅读内容的深化和延伸,此次讲述食物制作过程和步骤,让学生如何听懂指令、学会准确判断指令,有序地处理事情,通过课下动手实际操作,培养和锻炼学生生活能力,且本单元是一个有兴趣,愉悦的话题,无疑还会一高学生运用英语的兴趣和交际能力,对提高学生的办事能力,办事的条理性具有举足轻重的作用。
学习者特征分析:
本单元的教学内容非常具体化,贴近学生生活,谈论的主题能刺激学生食欲,极易激发学生的主动性和学习兴趣,所以,老师在本单元的教学过程中,边讲解边动作示范,最后让学生操作,最在限度地调动学生的积极性,展示良好的教学效果。
教学目标:
1、知识与技能目标:
能熟练掌握并运用“ first, then, next, after that, finally”等词,以及制做过程的祈使句表达方式,并能熟练运用制做过程。
2、过程与方法目标:培养学生观察、判断、概括、归纳等思维能力,以及对所学语言的表达能力。
3、情感态度与价值观目标:
通过教学,进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣,通过制做食物的介绍,培养学生的实际生活能力,了解生活知识,增长生活阅历,培养他们实践操作能力和动手能力,且通过操作,学生也会认识到劳动成果的来之不易,让他们从小就爱惜食物也让他们尊重别人的劳动成果。通过本单元的学习,让中国学生更多地了解不同国家和不同地域的饮食文化和饮食习惯,学会尊重别人的习俗。
教学方法:
1、教法说明:
(1)开放性教学法:本人采用多媒体教学方式,努力创设各种情景,结合教材插入学生们感兴趣的图片,拓展学生们的视野,实现知识的整合,达到学以致用的目的。
(2)任务型教学法:设计各种任务活动,促进学生之间的交流与合作,本节课教师可以将自己定位成一位说英语的,做西餐的厨师而教学的目的就是教会学生用英语描述它的过程。
2、学法说明:
(1)自主学习;能根据需要进行有目的预习,使其对教学内容起补充作用。
(2)合作探究学习:在活动中相互交流,相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。
教学过程:
StepI. Warming up ----1min
Play a piece of music 《moves like a Jaggar》让学生在愉快的音乐声中放松自己并把注意力转移到课堂上课。

幻灯片出现赵本山图片,引出问题,

T: Helllo,boys and girls!Are you happy today? I am always happy ,beacause I like watching comdies very much.My favorite comedy actor is Zhao Benshan. Please look at the screen, he asks us a question:How do we put an elephant into the firdge? Who can answer it in Chinese?
S:首先,把冰箱门打开。然后,把大象放进去,最后把冰箱门关上。
T:That's right. Although it is a joke,it also tells us ‘Doing things should
be in order.'

用近期热播的电视节目唤醒学生的共识,
《舌尖上的中国》,再用一道大家比较
熟悉的四川小吃进入作文的主题-如何
制作麻辣烫。

T:These days ,a program is very popular in China ,it is called ‘A bite
of China'.From it we can know lots of delicous food and really want to enjoy it,and today we can try to make a kind of famous Sichuan food-麻辣烫.
Can you guess how can say it in English?
S:Hot hot hot.
T:Clever!Many people like Sichuan food,and
how can we make it?
Let's look at the first picture.
What should we do first?
S:Wash vegetables.
T:And second picture,what should we do?
You can see some noodles and vegetables in
It.
S:Boil the noodles and vegetables.
T:Good!Pay attention to the pronuciation of
'boil',and next picture,what should we do?
S:Add some kinds of relish on it!
T:Yeah!Let's look at the last picture,so what
can we do now?
S:Eat it!
T:Of course!we can enjoy it together.
通过五幅图片出示五个短语,并可再次出示图片,
但只出示动词,让学生们回忆图片中的内容,目
的是有效巩固所学知识。

Task 1 ---2mins
T:Ok,let's review the five steps. I ask one student
and you can answer it with just one step.
(用一个简单提问和每个同学做对话,此次98中学
安排了15名同学,故计划5个同学为一轮,问完
三轮也就让所有的同学都练习到了)
第一轮:
T:For example:How do you make a hot hot hot?
S1:First,wash vegetables.
S2:Boil the vegetables and noodles.
S3:Add the relish on it.
S4:Mix them up.
S5:Eat it!
T:Very good!
第二轮及第三轮同上

Task 2 6mins
作文练习,运用这5个短语及连接词在写作纸上写出作文的第一稿,让一名同学到黑板写作。期间辅导在坐同学作文,之后教师来点评黑板同学的作文,增加好句子,学生更正。因时间原因,作业一:在作业纸的背面重新更正作文,也就是第二稿,目的使之更加完整。

T:You all did a good job.Well,can you use the following 5 phrases to write an aricle about"How to make a hot hot?' Pay attention to use the these words(first ,then,next,after that,finally)to keep the aticle in order.
I need a volunteer to come to front and wirte it on the blackboard,and other students wirte it on your wirting paper,I will give you 3mins to finish it,ok?
S:Ok.

T:Now put down your pen and look at the blackboard together. Her/his wrirting is pretty good,but can we fill in some sentances to make the aticle better?
S:I think we can say 'Eating vegetables is good for our health!'
T:That's ok,anything else?
S:I think we can also say ' It's important for us to chose the correct relish and make the food delicious!'
T:Great! So you see, homework one,you should correct your aticle at the back of the writing paper and make it better!

因为做课时间为10.30,第二天是西方传统节日-万圣节,根据时间的巧合也同时与现实生活相联系,扩展学生外国文化常识,给学生介绍万圣节,及做南瓜灯的步骤。
作业二:简单学做南瓜灯。

教学后记:根据时间及学生的实际情况,本人设计15分钟写作课的主要目的是让学生真正体会英语的魅力,并当堂写出简单作文,全员参与,根据学情设计语言难易,多一点的联系本国及外国当下的知识让学生多了解生活的知识,和联系实际的能力,并不希望让老师过多流畅的语言凌驾的学生之上,尽量用最简洁的语言让学生理解。学生学的快乐也许就是本次课的初衷。

【DIY】Try to make a pumpkin lantern after class by yoursleves!
Instructions:
STEP ONE: Cut off the top of the pumpkin.
STEP TWO:Scoop out the inside of the pumpkin.
STEP THREE:Carve the pumpkin with knife
STEP FOUR: Put an candle in the pumpkin
