Step One: Warming up.
T: Boys and girls, do you loveyour family?
S: Yes, we do.
T: Do you know the meaning of theword ”family” ? Let’s enjoy a video.

S: Yes, it’s“father and mother I love you.”

 Step two: Vocabulary（利用PPT图片动画，引出单词，更加自然、形象。）
1. Conversaton
T: Let’s meet Tom’s family. Cananybody tell me who is this person?
S1: Mother.
T: Yeah. And who is this?
(Teacher pointing at the father)
S2: Father.
(Teach the words “brother,sister” in the same way.)
(Teacher showing the picture ofparents and explain the word ”parents”.)
Parents 指双亲，指父亲或母亲一个人时，用parent形式。
在英语中表示两个或两个以上的人或物时，用复数形式：

1.     Introduction:
that’s是that is的缩写形式。当人称代词、指示代词及疑问词与be动词(am, is, are)等连用时，为了简便常用缩写。

Step Five: Game time
Write your mother’s, father’s orfriend’s name on the board. The other students guess who the person is.
