WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) was founded in the UK in 1961. It began a way to deal with the environmental problems of Africa, but it soon became involved in other projects. Now there are 52 offices in around 100 countries. The WWF has three aims:

• to protect endangered species;

• to conserve endangered species ;

• to try to find solutions to threats to the environment of the world for the benefit of people and nature .
Discussion:
Here is a problem which WWF has to deal with.Read the problem on page27.

Imagine you work for WWF.Discuss in groups of four what you would suggest.
1.Wildlife is human friends.
2.They can keep the balance of nature and make the whole world colorful.
3.To protect wildlife is to protect ourselves.
