double 可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词,意为“加倍;是……的两倍”。用作及物动词时,接名词或代词作宾语;用作不及物动词时,常与as ,for等介词连用,还常与back,up等副词连用。

their production.现代化的设备使他们能把产量翻倍。
