2.动词make用法：
①. make +n.
make food 做饭 make a plane做飞机
make the bed 铺床 make money 赚钱
②. I just made it to my class.
我恰好赶到班级。（arrived in time）
③. make sb. / sth. + adj. 使某人（感到）…
Soccer makes me crazy. 足球使我疯狂。

④. make sb. /sth + do使某人做某事(不能带to)
The color red makes people want to eat faster.
红色使人们吃得更快些。
注意：
1. 当make 用于被动语态时，必须带不定式符号to。
如：
　We were made to work all night.
我们被迫日夜工作。
I was made to repeat the story.
我被迫重述这个故事。
　 People who won’t should be made to work. 不愿劳动者应被强制劳动。
2.分词作make的宾语补足语
e.g. I made myself understood by all the students.
　　 You must make yourself respected.
3.make it习惯用语,及时赶到,到达目的地
I just made it to my class.
我恰好赶到班级。(arrived in time) I’m sorry I missed your concert，but I
was out of town and couldn’t make it. 很遗憾错过你的音乐会,但我当时不在
而且不能及时赶回来。
动词drive:
drive v. 迫使 drive sb.+adj.，使某人怎
样drive sb. crazy/mad 使某人发疯/发狂
e.g. Waiting for her drove Amy crazy.
That thing almost drive me crazy.
那件事几乎要使我发狂了。
You’ll drive mum mad one day. 你这样总有一天会把妈妈急疯了的。

What happened?
happen ，发生，不及物动词。
常见的用法有：
(1) “sth.+happen+地点/时间”，
“某地/某时发生了某事”
e.g. What’s happening outside?
外面发生什么事了?
Happen 用法：
(2) “sth.+happen to+sb.” 意为“某人出了
某事(常指不好的事发生在某人身
上)”。
e.g. A car accident happened to him
yesterday. 昨天他发生了交通事故。
(3) “sb.+happen+to do sth.” 意为“某人
碰巧做某事”
e.g. I happened to meet her in the street.
我碰巧在街上遇见她。

“越……, 越……”
e.g. The more you exercise, the healthier
