I. Warm up and revision
1.Revision
1.T: Boys &girls, do you remember your picture talk at last class? I’ve got many pictures here. Do you want to have a talk? Here are the pictures
1)Look at the pigs. What are they doing ? 2) What are they doing ? Ss: They’re reading a book.
2. Lead in-
1)T: Look at these monkeys. What are they doing? -(Ask and answer in pairs-> What are the monkeys doing? Ss: They’re playing football.
2)elephant: What is it doing ? It’s drawing pictures.
What’s the elephant doing? Ss: It’s drawing pictures. T writes down the title & answer.
3)T: What am I drawing?(T draw an elephant on the board)
Ss: You are drawing an elephant! T: Yes! You are right. Can you draw in this way?
Ss draw sth in this way.
4) Ask and answer in pairs: What’s the elephant doing? It’s drawing.
II. Presentation
1. Task presentation
1)T: Last unit, we had a competition "Look at the pictures and say them".
Today, we’ll go on talking about what is happening now. And we’ll have another competition “Draw the pictures and say them”.
2)(T sticks the boats& draw the river)Let’s see which group can row your boat further. Do you understand?
3)First, let's follow Daming &Amy to see the animal show and think about the question:
Q1: What other animals can they see? Listen carefully, please! Listen once.
PPT : tigers, bird, horse. T sticks the pictures on the board.
Q2: What are the animals doing?
PPT : jump, sing, dance. T writes the words down under the pictures.
2.Text learning: Ss’ book , Activity 2
1) Learn the new language items:
jump: T: I’m mother tiger, You are all my babies. Come on babies! You can jump now!
Baby tiger: (jumps) Mom: Jump! Yes! Jump! Good. What are you doing now, babies?
Baby: I am jumping. (happily)
sing :You know sing? I can sing well . Can you sing?
dance: Do you know dance? Can you dance? I’ll show you the music. Let’s dance!
#Ask & answer in pairs (three animals)
2) Learn the dialogue:
A. Listen and repeat. (演示播放程序)B. Practice in pairs. C. Show the dialogue. (静音功能)

III. Practice
1.Read and circle.(SB Activity 3)
PPT: T: You’ve done a great job! Now look at this picture please. There are many people in the park.
Look: This is …人物介绍-What are they doing? Do you know?
Ask several Ss to come to the front, point to the figures and try to tell what they are doing.
When someone talks about "row a boat", T tells the students: There’s a beautiful English song about “rowing a boat.” We’ll sing it later.
T: Here are some sentences about the picture. Are they “True”? Please look at the picture and read the sentences carefully. Then “Tick the right sentences”
Check the answers.* * Ask to finish self-assessment .
2. Sing the song《Row, row, row your boat》
T: Wonderful! Now let’s sing the beautiful English song, OK?
Listen to the song once. Read the lyrics after the CD-ROM.
Follow the CD-ROM to sing the song without music.
Sing it all together after the CD-ROM.
Your voice is so beautiful! So you can march all together.

3. Chain game 1 6幅图
T: Boys and girls, I’ve got many animal pictures. Do you want to have a look at them?
Look, this is a _______. Ss: fox!
T: Yes, what’s the fox doing? S1: It’s playing basketball. Ss: It’s playing basketball.
T sticks the picture to the board. Talk about the rest of the pictures in the same way.
2) Students practise talking about the pictures in pairs.
3) T: Let’s play a chain game, OK? Please ask and answer one by one all around the class. You can choose your favourite picture to ask.
T: Hi, S1! What’s the fox doing? S1:It's playing basketball. H, S2! What are the ...doing? S2:...

4. Chain game 2:我和你
T: You’re so great! Let’s play another chain game, OK? It’s a new game, and it’s more difficult . But I think you can do it! Do you want to have a try? I need 4 volunteers to give a model with me first.
Listen carefully, please! T Points to S1: Please do the actions and say “I’m ...ing”
T: You’re … ing. I am ...ing. S2: She/He is ...ing. You are … I am … S3:...
Ask all the groups to practice.
每个组分别表演,教师倒计时,从下场开始。并用Timer进行评价,唱歌曲把获胜小组划船前进。

IV. Task Completion
Draw and say:简笔画
T: Now let’s have our competition , the name is “Draw the pictures and say them” Please draw your friends’ playtime. Then ask and answer in groups. Choose the best one of your group. Then we’ll have our competition in class. Do it , please!
1.Draw the picture by themselves. (At the same time , ask & answer in your own group).
2.Vote the best one of their group.
3.T: Have you got your group winners? Group winners, come to the front, please.
4.All the Ss ask the group winner 1-5 :
What’s the girl/ boy doing?
What are the boys / girls doing?
What are the children doing?
5.T: Please choose the best one according to the picture and answer.
Show your hands to tell me your choice. You can only choose once!
6.T: XX, you are the winner!

V. Summary 1. Read the sentences on the board .
2. 看看谁的小船划的远Let’s see whose boat is further?
3. Please finish your self-assessment after class.
VI. Homework
1.Listen to the tape, imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
2.Show the song to your family.
3.Prepare another picture for the competition next lesson.
