一、揭题示标
1、复习上节课的单词和句型.
2、板书课题
3、出示学习目标:
4、我能正确认读单词:draw, jump, sing, dance .
5、我能运用What’s the elephant doing? 询问不明白的情景,并进行说明.
6、乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语.
二、出示学习指导:
1、自读课文,借助课文插图感知课文内容.
2、再次看课文,听录音,跟读模仿录音.
3、在情景中感知新知,模仿单词的发音,学习新句型.
4、生自读单词,句型,进行操练.
5、开展合作学习,通过同桌、小组内互相问答学习新知,小组长做好督促检查.

三、自研共探
1、打开课本P17活动2.教师引导学生根据课文插图初步感知课文内容.
2、听录音.模仿单词发音.(小对子活动,小组活动)
3、出示单词卡片.
引出draw/drawing, jump/jumping, sing/singing, dance/dancing这些新单词.
a. 首先会呈现图片draw/drawing,,并发问“What are they doing?”学生可能的答案有:① “画画”②“They’re (画画)”.此时教师引出draw,并教读,操练,然后再加上-ing教读.再次问“What are they doing?”学生可能回答They’re drawing.然后教师引导“They’re drawing pictures.”教师教读短语drawing pictures,They’re drawing pictures.
b. 就以这样的方式,教授另外几个单词.
c. Let’s chant
Draw, draw, drawing, drawing, drawing.
Jump, jump, jumping, jumping, jumping.
Sing, sing, singing, singing, singing.
Dance, dance, dancing, dancing, dancing.
教师先带读前面一个句子,然后,学生们在老师的帮助下,自己读下面的三句.然后加上动作引导学生做一遍,再重复第二遍.
4、听课文录音.学生跟读课文.
5、T: What is it? S: elephant.
T: It’s an elephant. So, what’s the elephant doing?让学生跟读,follow me,what’s the elephant doing?<男、女生;分组读;一起读>
①呈现三头大象,并出现句子What are the elephants doing?
They’re drawing pictures.
②What are the tigers doing?
They’re jumping.
呈现出两头老虎跳的句子,同样让学生补充完整句子并读句子②呈现一只老虎,让学生补充完整.What is the tiger doing?
It’s jumping.
③What’s the bird doing?
It’s singing.
④The horse is running.
No, it’s dancing.
然后一只鸟/许多鸟/许多马/一匹马.最后教师总结何时用is,何时用are.
四、学情展示
1、根据课文内容对活动2进行分角色朗读课文.以小组为单位分角色展示朗读课文.
2、教师做动作.学生根据动作说出句子.
3、组织学生对朗读情况进行评价,并对对话中的读音错误进行纠正.
4、小组长自评本组学习效果.其他小组进行质疑、补充.
