一、教学内容：
Module 8 Unit 1 Is it a monster？本课主要是培养学生能够听懂、会说用语“Is it a(n)...? It's a ..."并能熟练进行会话。
二、教学内容分析：
本单元的课文情景是在公园里，两个小女孩看到树丛后面有奇怪的东西，于是做出各种猜测，她们越想越害怕。并用“Help”进行呼救。在猜测过程中，他们一直使用“Is it a…?”说出自己的猜测。他们已经看到了这个奇怪东西的一部分，有一定的把握。但是不够肯定。这种情况，就要用到本单元的句式“Is it a…?”来进行询问了。21世纪教育网版权所有
三、教学目标：
1. 语言知识目标：
a. 能够听懂、会说词汇：monster, now, kite, don’t=do not, know, no, not (isn’t=is not), help等。 njy.com

1. kite, cat两个单词的发音与区分。
2. I don’t know 的发音与理解。
