教学目标：
1. 知识目标：正确听、说、读、写下列介词above, below, beside和across from。
2. 能力目标：能用所学的介词描述自己周围的物体，所处的方位。
3. 情感、文化目标：通过游戏、贴画等活动激发学生的兴趣培养学生英语口语能力和学习英语的自信心。

教学重、难点：
1. above和on的区别，below和under区别。
2. across from的正确理解和应用。

单词卡、玩具熊、录音机

教学过程：
Part 1：问候复习
问候
T: Good morning, girls and boys. How are you?
S: Nice to meet you. I’m happy, are you happy?
T: Sit down, please.
2. 复习
出示单词卡片以快速抢答的方式复习下列词汇: bed, dresser, lamp, closet, computer, slippers, TV, picture等，提问
问题，学生抢答。
What's this? It's a .
Is this a ______or a .
让学生一起朗读这些单词。
用一只玩具熊teddy bear复习以前学过的介词in, on和under把teddy bear放在桌子里、桌子上和桌子下面，
引导学生读。
The teddy bear is in\on\under the desk.
Play a game: I say you do.
“我来说，你来做”老师发出指令，学生按老师的指令去做。
put your book on the desk.
put your book in the desk.
put your pen under the desk.
put your pencil in the pencil box·····

Part 2：讲授新概念
1. now we are going to lesson 10 In the bedroom
继续用teddy bear来演示beside, above, below, between和across from的意思，鼓励学生大胆说出这些词的意义。
当学生在说这些词的意义时，老师用teddy bear表演相应的动作。
解释above和on的不同点，below和under的不同点，当一个物体接触到另一个物体时就用on，above 则经常意味着物体相互并不接触。Below 类似于under,但是物体间的距离不同。Under一般意味着物体间靠得很近，而below 意味着物体互相离得较远。
用图片演示下列句子
The picture is above the bed. The bed is below the picture.
The dresser is beside the bed.
The dresser is between the bed and the closet..
The TV is across from the bed.
3. 看书跟读
4. 四人一组，用大家课前制作的家具物品模型拼摆一个卧室，就卧室内的摆设相互提问并回答。
甲: Where is the ? 乙: It's 。
教师巡视，检测学生对方位词的使用情况，及发音是否准确。
5. 小组表演展示他们的卧室及问答情况。
6. 鼓励学生用新学的词汇造出有关物品的方位的句子。
e.g. The book is beside the pencil—case.
鼓励学生大声读出他们造出的句子。

Part 3: 学习第二部分
教师指着图提问，谈论卧室中的物品及摆设
教师: What's in your bedroom?
生: There is a bed, a dresser a closet and a computer.
师: Where is the computer?
生: It's on the desk.

Part 4：听录音看书跟读
播放录音，让学生看书跟读。

Part 5：学习第三部分
同桌两人一起找两幅图的不同之处，并描述同一物品的不同位置。
