教学内容:
冀教版小学英语4A Lesson 16
教学目标:
1. 知识与技能:本课要求学生会听、说、读、写单词bike, car, truck, bus. 学会说句子: Let's take a___.学会唱歌曲"The Wheels on the Bus." 通过听说唱演等不同方式培养学生对语言的感受能力。
2. 情感态度价值观:通过多样性的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动积极性,使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功,感受乐趣,树立自信心,促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。
教学重点、难点:
本课重点单词、句子,并会口头运用所学会本课歌曲。
教具准备:
磁带,单词卡片
教学过程:
Part 1: Class Opening and Review
Greeting
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss zhang.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine.(学生根据实际情况回答,教师灵活作答)
T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you too. / Me too.
设计意图:师生间的问候是每节课必不可少的,改变套路式的问话,让学生根据自己的实际情况回答,真正做到语言的灵活运用,让英语走进孩子的日常生活。
2. Review “bicycle, near, far”
T: (出示课件) What can you see on the picture?
Ss: I can see a house and a bicycle.
T: Boys and girls,please use the two to answer my questions.
(出示课件)Yeah! Where is the bicycle?
Ss: The bicycle is near the house.
T: (出示课件) Where is the bicycle?
Ss: The bicycle is far from the house.
T: (出示课件)Follow me.The bicycle is near the house.
The bicycle is far from the house
Ss: The bicycle is near the house.
The bicycle is far from the house.
设计意图:本环节在复习旧知(bicycle, near, far)的同时逐步自然的引入要学的新知识(car, cab, bus, truck)过渡较为自然,学生易于接受。
Part 2: New Concepts
Bus, car, cab, truck
1. Demonstrate
T: (出示课件)The school is ____ from our house.
Ss: Far.
T: Yeah! Usually we go to school by bike,but now we go to school by bus.So let’s take a bus.
(Show the picture of “bus”) Look. This is a bus. Bus. Read after me, please.
Ss: Bus, bus
T: Let’s take a bus.
Ss: Let’s take a bus.
设计意图:1. 运用图片和实物玩具来讲授新单词,图片可以刺激学生的视觉,实物玩具则大大调动了学生学习的兴趣。
在句型“Let’s take a ___.” 中操练所学单词,做到“词不离句,句不离词”,避免学生孤立的学习单词。
Part 3: Note(出示课件)
1. Explain the complete word for “cab’ is “taxicab".
2. Pay attention to “car” and “cab”. They’re similar to each other.

“What’s Missing?”
This game is to review the vehicles: bicycle, car, cab, truck and bus.
First, divide the class into two teams.(播放课件)Let the students to look at the pictures and remember the words. And then hide one picture of them, let the students to put up their hands and answer what’s missing? Who is faster, their team can get one point.
设计意图:通过学生喜欢的游戏巩固练习所学新单词:“car, cab, bus, truck”,同时活跃课堂气氛。
4. Listen to the tape of the text and follow it.
5. Sing “The Wheels on the Bus”
(出示课件)Explain the new words in this song.
wipers(擦水器)
horn (喇叭)
Chant
Look at the screen and chant all the words together.
Sing after the computer.and do the actions.
For “around and around”, make circles with your hands.
For “around and around”, put your right elbow on your left hand ,and point your right forearm and hand straight up. Then swish your right forearm back and forth .
For “beep, beep, beep”, pretend to beep a horn on a steering wheel.
For “up and down”, stand up and sit down.
For “waa, waa, waa”, rub your eyes as if crying.
For “shh, shh, shh”, put your index finger before your mouth.
设计意图:幻灯片将声音、图片集于一身,声情并茂,很适合这个年龄段学生的心理特点,比单纯的听磁带更能激发学生学习的欲望。
Part 4: Class Closing
Homework:
1. Finish the exercise in the Activity Book after class.
2. Make a model(模型) of your favourite car.
设计意图:作业环节的设计是学生能够做到查漏补缺,及时巩固课上所学的知识。第二个作业跟侧重的是对学生动手能力方面的培养,让他们知道学习英语不只是简单的听说读写,我们还可以通过动手的方式来体验学习中的快乐,我们培养的是德智体美全面发展的学生。
