一、教学思路
本单元的主题是“确认物品的所有权”,物品主要围绕着教室内学生身边的常用物品,在教学时使用实物进行教学,增强学生的学习效果。将真实的语言材料引入学习环境,结合所授内容,努力为学生创造真实的、贴近生活的情境。采用直观教学、情景教学、“任务型”教学方法,从学生的实际生活经验出发,通过情景操练,掌握单词和达到练习重点句型的目的。
二、Teaching Aims
Language goal:
1.Words and expressions: pencil, pen, book, eraser, ruler, pencil case, dictionary, schoolbag, excuse me
2.Key sentences: —Is this your pencil?
—Yes, it is. It’s my pencil.
—Is that your book?
—No, it isn’t. It’s his book.
Ability objectives:
To learn to use the demonstratives “this, that”.
To learn to use the sentences “Is this…?/ Is that…?And its answers.
Morality objectives:
Learn to love the school things. And return the lost things to other people if we find them.

Task 1 Greeting
Greet the students,show the rules of competition

Task 2 Presentation
1.Play a piece of music and ask: What can you hear in the song?
2. Show pictures, Ask:” What’s this? …Spell it, please”. teach pencil, dictionary, eraser, schoolbag, pencil case
3. Ask the Ss you find the words?
(pencil, dictionary, ruler, eraser, book, schoolbag, map)
1.Enjoy the music and go over the sentence“What’s this?”
2.Look at the pictures and learn the new words
3.Try to remember these words
通过听歌曲,既营造气氛也复习了旧知识,然后在此基础上学习新单词,并通过游戏记住这些新单词。
Task 3 Match
Ask the students to look at the pictures and find the things in the picture
Look at the picture and match the words with things
及时检测并巩固所学知识
Step 4 Presentation
pike up a pencil, and ask “Is this your pencil? And point to a book and ask“Is that your book?” Then teach them key sentences.
A guessing game:Let them guess“What’s that?It that a/an…?”.
1.Try to learn the key sentences, and read after the teacher
2.Try to use key sentences to guess what thing it is.

Task 5 Listening and pairwork
Play the tape for Ss and guide the skills of listening.
2. Play the movie for Ss and ask them to add voice to the movie

Task6 Game time (Find the owner)
Ask some students to put some school things into the bag and ask one student to find the owner.
Take something out of the box and find the owner.
用这个活动进一步激励学生对目标语言的进一步运用。
Task 7 Summary
And Homework
Summary of this period. Tell the students to love the school things and return the lost things to other people if we find them.
(1) Find out the English words of school things you know.
(2) Make a conversation to find the owner of a dictionary.
