本单元为初中英语阶段的基本入门课程,单元内容仍以26个英语字母的认读与书写作为本单元教学重点,随着字母学习的深入,本单元还将学习辨认物品,拼写单词,以及一些简单音标的认读,同时并贯穿了大写字母的应用旨在引导学生学习英语的兴趣。

语音目标: 认识音标及简单字母在不同单词中的读音。

本单元为初中英语阶段的基本入门课程,单元内容仍以26个英语字母的认读与书写作为本单元教学重点,随着字母学习的深入,本单元还将学习辨认物品,拼写单词,以及一些简单音标的认读,同时并贯穿了大写字母的应用旨在引导学生学习英语的兴趣。
Analysis of the Teaching Material:
This class, we will learn the letters I-N, pay attention to the reading and the writing of the letters, And then ,we will learn some abbreviation of the capital letters.

Teaching Aims and Demands

Knowledge Objects:
The letters from I-N.
The pronunciation of [ei]and [e].
Some abbreviation of the capital letters.


Ability Objects:
Learn to read and write the letters I-N.


Moral Objects :
Foster students’ interests of learning English.

Step I Revision
Have the students rewrite the letters from A to H and check them.
Practice the dialogue of greetings.
Step ⅡWarming-up
Do the exercises on page s5, match the big letters with the small letters ,and confirm the letters A-H.
Listen and repeat the pronunciation of the letters.
注意纠正学生习惯性的读音错误,正确区分字母G 与J的读音。
3. Learn to writer the letters in correct form.

注意:大写字母在书写时向右倾斜5度,占上两个格,小写字母j 三个格子都占,特别强调大写字母K 的写法。
Step Ⅲ Practice
Make the students write with the teacher’s tips.

Step3 The usage of a, an
A ,an 均表示数量“一”,an用在以元音或元音音素开头的单词钱表示数量一,a 用在以辅音字母开头的单词前表示数量一。
Eg: a pen , a key, a banana , a tree
An apple, an eraser, an orange, an hour.
Step4 The different sounds of the same letter in the different words.
I[ai] I hi fine, [i] quilt in

Step5 Make summary of the lesson.
The teacher calls some students come to the blackboard and write the letters, and then check them.
The teacher shows the things to students in a box, leading the dialogue and call some students to make dialogue.
